The classroom teacher designs and follows a weekly schedule that is based on the classroom needs. A typical schedule will include a specified time for Verbal Behavior Instruction, 1:1 academic instruction across students and teachers, circle time, group activities, criterion teaching time (extra tutoring for students or additional teaching time for students who are close to meeting an educational objective), gym, recess, and transition time. The purpose of the daily schedule is to optimize the instructional time for the students and teachers.
